/veryunimportant/ thank you wonderful creatures

this will make zero sense to most of the humanity, but I’m just endlessly thankful to the unicorns that said that today

There are people who want to open that door. Walk into the room, look at the wallpapers. Discuss the pictures on the walls and the artists that made them and histories that these picture have. Make the room better, cook some popcorn there and watch a movie. Move into the room and be happy because they have the room. And we are those people. And we are here right now, on the doorstep, ready to knock.

H E L L O ! ! !

I won’t even apologise for not sticking to the schedule, because there’s clearly not no point in doing so (just telling you this in case you didn’t notice). Even though I’m sorry for planning a schedule and not sticking to it.

BUT:

I kinda have a more-or-less understandable excuse, for yours truly is partaking in an international theatre festival and thinks it is really awesome.

There’s going to be a few big fat posts about the whole event in the nearest future, but right now all you can enjoy is a small Top Several Things thingy and photos. Continue reading

Week 3: To prove to you that my phone has a camera

I’m into pretending to take good photos now, yup.

As I already informed you, I got a phone with a really good camera for New Year. And I did tell you to mentally prepare yourselves for photos, so here they are.

Now I’ve become a bit more pretentious and pseudo-artistic than a mortal is allowed to be. But you can’t have too much of a good thing, though, eh? Continue reading

Week 2 & Week 4 combined: Gymnázium nad Alejí, Prague

This whole spring is just bursting with examinations. I have finished (and, more importantly, passed) my Czech B1 exams on April, 1, I’m writing Czech B2 exams in May, and right now I’ve got admission exams, which are, well, basically the most important exams in the last few years of my life. Depending on the results, I will either get into a really cool and awesome Prague-based school with a high level of English and study there for totally free and be among Czechs and will finally get out of the environment I hate so much, or make my family spend large sums of money on me – again – and get into a private school for Russian students whose parents don’t have enough money or intelligence to provide their child with a better education (Czech Republic is rather far from being the best-educated country, let’s be fair), and feeling guilty for my family wasting everything they’ve got on me and giving me much more moral and financial support than I deserve. Week 1 – Pieces of art: Slovakians sing about Vanya from Vorkuta

a bit postponed. sorry. won’t happen again anymore.

Here’s something to help you make it through a quiet Sunday.

BijouTerrier, a Slovakian punk band, tells us a story of one Vanya from Vorkuta. His life is rather sad: after his heroin-addicted mother dies, he decides to get out of there by transporting some radioactive substances to Moscow. Continue reading

Bing Bong Changes

My dear friends, family, and everyone who has just stumbled across (or, indeed, stumbled over) this while innocently travelling through the endlessness of the Webonet,

I’d like to inform you all lovely lot that I’ve been going through some changes lately, a kind of metamorphosis maybe, as one may say. And I know what you’re thinking, so a) Yes, I know that by our unique nature of human beings, all of us live lives full of constant changes, and I do my best trying to get over it and stop playing such a drama queen, and I’m aware that there’s still no excuse for my betraying my loyal audience and being silent for so long, and b) No, I did not wake up one morning and realise I’m a monstrous insect-like creature on the outside as well, and thank God for that.
